The project is implemented with the support of the European Union and co-financed by the Hungarian State.
Within the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme, R-Steel Kft. is carrying out a technological and administrative development project focusing on two main areas: the modernization of internal material handling and the introduction of digital enterprise management. As part of the project, the company will acquire two new electric forklifts, which will make the handling of heavy steel products safer and faster, while reducing downtime and manual workload.
Another key element of the development is the establishment of IT infrastructure. The procurement of a notebook computer, a multifunctional printer, and the introduction of software solutions — SharePoint Premium, Power BI and Microsoft Teams — will enable modern, digital operations. These solutions support document management, data analysis and internal communication, thereby increasing the company’s transparency and decision-making capabilities.
As a result of the project, the operation of R-Steel Ltd. will become more efficient, faster and data-driven, strengthening the company’s competitiveness.

Project description:
Thanks to the support received, R-Steel Kft. has launched a comprehensive development project focusing on the optimization of production processes and the renewal of its visual corporate identity. Within the framework of the project, a modern large-scale frame saw machine will be procured, enabling precise and fast bundle cutting of steel beams. The new equipment replaces slow and labor-intensive procedures while reducing dependence on external suppliers and significantly increasing production efficiency.
The development is further complemented by a complex measuring system that enables direct cut-to-size processing, allowing the company to manufacture new product types. By utilizing the capacity of the new machine, procurement from competitors can also be replaced, resulting in increased cost efficiency and a significant logistical advantage. As a result of the innovation, R-Steel Kft. will be able to enter new market segments while providing higher-quality services to its partners.
Within the project framework, R-Steel Kft. will also implement marketing innovation, including the unification of visual appearance and the strengthening of online presence. Following a brand audit, the company will prepare a modernized brand guideline, renew its website and actively develop its social media activities. Planned actions include the creation of a mobile-optimized website, regular PR activities and monthly newsletters, all contributing to stronger customer relationships and increased online visibility.
Through the developments implemented with the support, R-Steel Kft. not only improves its production efficiency and economic performance but also ensures the long-term maintenance of its competitive advantage in the steel industry.

SAP Business One, the market-leading integrated enterprise resource planning system, was implemented, covering all business processes of the company. The IT system provides transparent and continuously up-to-date records of inventory, the company’s financial position and all customer-related data, ensuring that management has access to current information.
In addition to the core SAP Business One implementation, integrated add-on solutions were used, fully integrated in both functionality and presentation.
Business processes and organizational structure were optimized, resulting in more efficient operations. The ERP system concept plan was prepared, and Techwave Hungary Plc. customized the IT system. A fully operational live SAP system was established, data migration was completed, employees were trained to use the system in live operation, and the necessary hardware was procured.
